I am currently enrolled in Virginia Tech as my first footstep to my college career.   Growing up from around the local area, I fell in love with the campus and the New River Valley at a young age.  The university matches my strong interests in Engineering as well as providing an excellent community, great outdoors, and friendly organizations.  Virginia Tech has been a great experience in pursuits of a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering

Christiansburg High School

2009-2013

High school was a great experience to confirm my interests and pursuits in engineering.  With a 3.83 GPA and in the top 40 of my class of 250, I enjoyed my math, robotics, and drafting courses and it made it a pleasure to go to school.  I graduated with 15 Dual Enrollement college credits to get a feel for college academic life.  One of these courses was a calculus class taken my senior year and taught at the New River Community College itself.  Upon graduation I recieved the following seals with my Advanced Studies Diploma:

     Advanced Mathematics and Technology Seal

     National Honor Society Seal

Governor of Virginia Academic Excellence Seal

Virginia Board of Education Career and Technical Education Seal
